Most of Chile, including Santiago, changes its clocks. The Aysén and Magallanes regions stay on the same time (UTC-3) all year. Easter Island changes on the same dates, two hours behind the mainland.

The rule
Chile's summer time (horario de verano) runs from the first Sunday in September to the first Sunday in April. The change happens at midnight: on the Saturday night before, clocks jump from midnight to 1:00 AM in September, and go back from midnight to 11:00 PM in April.
